[Responsibilities]
1. Data Conversion
• Work with SAP technical consultants (3rd Party System Integrator) analyzing data conversion/migration requirements and the make-up of legacy data.
• Legacy data that are in scope for the migration:
- Stores and warehouse finished good inventory
- Clients data (CRM database) and their purchases history
- Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
- Fixed Asset Master Data and Asset Open Balances
- Vendor Master Data and AP Open Items
- Customer Master Data and AR Open Items
• Work with company in Korea to design appropriate data migration solutions including, where required, transformation routines
• Support Data Cleansing activities as required, using Excel, Data Services and SQL tools.
• Build, test, ute and manage data migrations together with SAP functional team by utilizing tools
• Preload and post load validation of migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements
• Perform migration mocks, migration cutover tasks and post go-live support
• Provide advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and advising on appropriate data management strategies and techniques
2. Business Support(Accounting)
• Work with local company Accounting Team and functional and technical consultants (3rd Party System Integrator) defining specific Korean tax and accounting requirements to be implemented in SAP(Finance Localization)
• Playing the role of single point of contact for the company organization towards the wider HQ IT Project Team for the whole duration of the project
• Helping and coaching the local company Accounting Team with the adoption of the new application by supporting with training sessions, with cutover and go-live activities planning ution, and with monitoring and smoothing the hyper-care
Skills and Experience Required
• Experience in data analysis, reconciliation, cutover planning, and preparation of data migration runbooks
• Extensive experience of data management (especially with SAP Finance modules) and migration activities in SAP environment
• A wide experience across a range of SAP FI/CO functional areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Profit Centre and Cost Centre Controlling, Tax Filing
• Good consulting skills are a pre-requisite, with business facing consulting capability
• Good background with accounting principles and operations
• Experience with SAP projects based on international ¡°template¡± roll-out is a plus
• Good understanding of accounting for retail businesses (e.g. stores sales and payment reconciliation, digital and online payment processing) will be considered as a plus
• Business level of English
