JOB INFORMATION
Sr. Trade Compliance Analyst will perform primarily on the ution and implementation of Global Trade Compliance programs, policy, processes and systems for the Asia regions independently, in the areas of Export Control compliance as well as Customs compliance. Especially, the person will focus on Korea export control regime, as well as manage Korea Customs relative matters.
The work will include but not limit to order reviewing/releasing, license application/management (including ICP/Bulk Permit), local ECCN classification/verification, audit and training in terms of export control. Meanwhile, he/she will also assist in Customs areas such as Country of Origin, tariff code (HS) classification and Customs Valuation.
The role will also assist Asia Regional Trade Compliance Manager to facilitate cross-regional projects/event such as FTA utilization. The position must uphold high standards of excellence, ethics as a contributing team member of the Global Trade Compliance organization.

Conduct local ECCN classification/verification
per governmental export control program

Apply for export license/permit
and license management; Apply/Maintain and update for ICP/Bulk License;
Document Filing; Reporting

Keep abreast of trade-related government new policies/practices
evolvement
¡¤
Conduct Oracle
transactions review and release
¡¤
Provide trade compliance
consultation to Coherent internal clients
¡¤
Provide trade compliance
training to Coherent internal clients
¡¤
Conduct trade compliance audit pertaining to
customs valuation, tariff rate, HTS code, country of origin, ECCN, Incoterm, Korean
government regulation, etc.

Help to guide on the import related
subjects, such as: Korea Radio Waves Act, Electric Appliance Safety Act,
Chemical products safety management, Foreign Exchange Control Act, etc

Customs affairs trouble-shooting and correspond
in/external customs audit
¡¤
Support other Global
Trade Compliance projects and tasks assigned by GTC management
¡¤
Continuously seek for
improvement/optimization of the trade compliance program
Skills and Experience Required
About 5 years + of working experience in Multinational company, in related roles such as international supply chain, global logistics, foreign trade, import/export handling etc.

Profound understanding of Korea export control program, and good
knowledge of US EAR
¡¤
Profound understanding of Korea Customs work; 3 years + experience of
direct engagement with Korea Customs Service

Demonstrated
capability of quick-learning and interpersonal skills
¡¤
Ability
to write, speak, and present effectively in English working environment.

Experience
with Oracle system and SAP system is a plus
