JOB INFORMATION

Act
as LEAD for one or more customer driven xEV programs and guide other engineers
in all aspects of xEV system engineering process
¡¤
Coordinate
and manage all phases of both current and future customer programs / projects
¡¤
Facilitate
internal communications between e-Axle Product Engineering, Sales, Quality,
Warranty, Manufacturing and Assembly for specific programs / projects (voice of
customer within the organization).
¡¤
Champion
Engineering change requests and submit ERs & deviations as required.
¡¤
Facilitate
the implementation of design changes, cost savings and new model launches at
customer.
¡¤
Work
within the customer systems to update and release drawings, models, BOMs, and
specifications for the company products.
¡¤
Create
customer ECNs
¡¤
Perform
the company's product application analysis for customer vehicles.
¡¤
Lead
root cause analysis and resolution of customer assembly plant build issues and
assist with resolution of field, warranty, and quality issues.
¡¤
Onsite
support of special vehicle builds as well as coordination of special orders.
¡¤
Lead
electric vehicle system integration and component design discussions with
customers
¡¤ S
Skills and Experience Required
¡¤
Four
year degree in Engineering required (Preferred Electrical Engineering).
¡¤
Minimum
of 5 years of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
¡¤
Experience
in drivetrain/powertrain/chassis engineering or related field
¡¤
Basic
CAD skills
¡¤
Excellent
mechanical aptitude
¡¤
Must
be a self-directed and motivated individual who is willing to accept
responsibility.
¡¤
Excellent
written, verbal, and presentation skills.
¡¤
Structured
problem solving abilities
¡¤
Must
have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within
and outside Dana in a professional manner.
¡¤
Demonstrated
proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint) and
Outlook.
¡¤
Strong
organizational skills and able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
¡¤
Must
be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
¡¤
Must
be able to handle stressful/pressure situations in a professional manner.
¡¤
Willing
and able to work excess hours when necessary.
¡¤
Must
be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally.

Basic
knowledge of vehicle control systems including CAN, strategy, calibration, and
software release process
¡¤
Awareness
of ISO26262 / Functional Safety and Requirements mgt. tools
