Summary:

 The Software Engineering Lead will also drive amplifier application software deliverables, production issue solution, including but not limited to embedded software design, implementation and verification. The candidate is required to work effectively with Korea based automakers, flexible resource teams and other regional engineering teams. Fluent speaking and writing skill in both Korean and English is a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Schedule and deliver the software release to customer on time with quality.

·         Support Korea based customers on software issue reporting, requirement clarification, release schedule and production trouble shooting.

·         Lead the software team in ASD Korea office to serve as first line of defense for software related customer issues.

·         Follow ASD software best practice and guide the team to exercise it.

·         Provide software status and issue report and update to other engineering managers.

·         Manage full time employees and contractors in regional software team, responsible for individual performance review, career growth, hiring, training and other people management related activities.

Experience:

·         Minimum 10 years Embedded Software programming experience

·         Automotive and audio industry experience is strongly preferred

·         Customer facing experience is required

·         Ability to work independently and multitask effectively

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to apply critical thinking

·         Have strong software design and development skills and knowledge of software development process practices

·         Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills

·         People management experience is preferred, including interacting with international teams and outsourcing teams

Education:

·         Required BS/BA in Software or Electrical Engineering

·         Master’s degree is preferred
